The Deion Sanders Decision

On this episode of “What’s Up Cuz!?” Jason and Lance talk about the controversy surrounding the decision by former Jackson State University coach Deion Sanders, who left the school to take the head coaching job at Colorado. The fellas talk about the lack of African American coaches at predominately white institutions and specifically in the Power 5 conferences. They also discuss did Sanders betray HBCU’s by leaving and why HBCU’s are constantly underfunded by government entities and the need for more alumni to give back to their school. Grambling State assistant coach Jamar Harp also joins the fellas to chime in on the Sanders decision.
