In this episode, Lance and Jason speak with New York Times journalist Jonathan Abrams about his new book “The Come Up.” The fellas give their Top Five Hip Hop albums of all-time, in addition to learning about the relationship between the music genre and sports. They also talk with Abrams about an article he recently wrote about American pro basketball players playing in Russia, despite female professional players boycotting Russia due to the detainment of Brittney Griner.

Old friend Kedric Prince returns to talk about the surprising Fighting Illini team, which is currently ranked 18th in the country. Prince believes Illinois is building a true football program and the excitement in Champaign is building.
