UPDATE: Missing Dental Hygienist from Chicago
UPDATED ON JUNE 17, 2023: Chicago police discovered the body of Rena Baker in her vehicle a little more than a mile from her home on June 6th. Her death is being investigated as a possible homicide but police are waiting for lab results.
Authorities in Chicago were looking for a 39-year-old woman who had been missing since May 31st. Rena Baker, who works as a dental hygienist was last seen in the 7600 block of south King Drive after visiting a friend. Shortly thereafter her car was spotted on the Dan Ryan Expressway heading south, but police say they can’t tell if Baker was in the car or not.
Baker’s family became worried when she did not pick her son up from school. In addition, she missed her daughter’s graduation. She also has not reported to work at a dental office in the 5100 block of South Pulaski.
